The challenge: A sloped lot with protected desert views — the clients wanted water that met the horizon without blocking it.
The result: A 42-foot perimeter-overflow pool set into the grade, with a sunken fire lounge and lighting tuned to the sunset.
The challenge: High-country weather and granite bedrock — most builders bid the pool and declined the rest of the yard.
The result: Blasted, built and finished as one project: pool, spa, ramada kitchen and a hardscape plan that sheds snowmelt.
The challenge: A 30-year-old pebble pool with failing equipment and a yard of bare decomposed granite.
The result: Resurfaced and re-tiled with new equipment, travertine decking, fire feature and a desert landscape that finally belongs to the house.
